Step into Your Moxie® Speak Up and Influence

1-Day or 4-Week Experience

Step into your moxie

Speak Up and Influence

Step into your moxie • Speak Up and Influence •

Through a mix of coaching, training, role play, and small and full group conversation, participants will develop the mindset, skill set, and habits to boost their communication confidence so they can speak with power and impact and move people to take action whenever they speak.

Sound like the type of workshop your organization needs?

By the end of this experience, participants will be able to:

  • Reframe diminishing self-talk so that it supports rather than undermines communication confidence

  • Harness a “Yes And” attitude and play nicely with feelings that come up when presenting ideas and navigating uncomfortable situations

  • Minimize vocalized thinking and amplify their speaking presence to increase credibility, likeability, and trust

  • Call people to take action on ideas in low and high stakes speaking situations (i.e., team meetings, project pitches, or presentations)

  • Address common pain points and personal motivators that get in the way of people taking action

  • Articulate their value and go after visibility opportunities that position your company as an industry leader

Over 1-day or 4 weeks (2 hours/week), participants will form a tight-knit group — a space where they can learn from Amanda and each other. They will gain confidence and clarity in their leadership roles, and form bonds that they can rely on when discomfort arises (as it always does in leadership!).

You know diversity is key to your organization’s bottom line. Let me help you support your women leaders so they can fully step into their potential (and make you look brilliant while doing so).

  • Jennifer Peterson, Treehouse Manager

“Amanda provided our group with a great energy that everyone thrived on. She speaks directly and to the point, and that is something that we all really appreciated. She spoke to us about taking care of ourselves, before we can fully be able to take care of the children we care for and that is something everyone needed to be reminded of. Most of all we learned about how we can support each other as a group of women all working together in a workplace that can be emotionally charged at time. I would recommend having Amanda speak to any group as it seems that she can adapt to any setting and has something to contribute to any situation.”

  • Buckberger Baerg & Partners LLP

"It pulled at the heart strings a lot more than I thought it would. I have a much deeper appreciation for my co-workers and their personal stories now."

  • Amy Close, Saskatchewan Young Leaders

“Amanda – I still can’t wrap my head around all of your expertise and insights you shared with all of us. From one - not putting up with anyone’s BS girl to another, thank you for having a voice and reminding me to never silence mine!”

  • Colleen Friesen, Associate Director of HR, Prairie Branches

“Amanda and Courtney are a fabulous team who work well together to draw the splinters out of the collective wounds of the participants. If you come open to sharing of yourself, you will be well rewarded!”

  • Georgia Lavallee, Executive Director

“I believe Amanda’s session helped remind me that having a daring conversation off the hop is much better than leaving something for too long - that's when it can become unbearable. I think she listened to everything I said that our sector needed and she delivered!!! There is no way to really describe the invaluable information Amanda shared with our guests. She has a beautiful way of making everyone feel seen, something that is often missing from our sector.”

  • Kelsey Fitch/Segberg, Founder of Neoma Wellness & the Evoke Conference

“When I was looking for a workshop facilitator, I wanted someone relatable, personable, authentic, and fun. Someone who hasn't just "learned" how to facilitate a workshop, but has a story, and a "why". Upon meeting Amanda, and feeling comfortable almost immediately in her presence, I knew that she would be the right fit to bring to Evoke. My biggest takeaway from the workshop, personally, was learning more about negative self-talk holding me back from speaking out on things I am passionate about, and communicating properly with others. Amanda is just such a ray of light, and so easy to talk to. I genuinely felt that I have a friend moving forward, and someone that I will never hesitate to ask further about the topics discussed in our workshop. She offers support well beyond the workshop. Amanda is as real as they come, passionate about her teachings, and genuinely wants to help other women pursue their goals.”
